Begin Yoga (Mondays at 5:00 p.m.)  is a small group who come Monday evenings to relax, stretch, regroup, gently move and breathe!  St. Anne’s is an ideal location, especially for those coming from work in the Lehigh Valley.  All are welcome to practice yoga as well as discover a terrific church in Trexlertown!  Details and contact information below.

As we live longer, yoga can play an essential role in helping us stay healthy, feel better and attain a better quality of life.

Registered Yoga Teacher Jacqueline Collins Spain teaches traditional Hatha yoga classes as well as Privates and Semi-Privates throughout the Lehigh Valley. In November 2014, Jacqueline earned a Certificate of Completion in Integrative Yoga for Seniors Professional Training from Duke Integrative Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. With new integrative evidence-based guidelines, especially for those 50 and older, Jacqueline will share a Yoga Therapy approach to movement and asana that is tailored to be more effective for your specific body type. Proper yoga technique is crucial especially as we age and face new physical or medical challenges.

Key Note: Practicing yoga has also been proven to help people with Low Bone Mass (formerly called Osteopenia), Osteoporosis and Arthritis, conditions that show in some as we age.
