St. Anne’s Summer Camp

“Hero Central: Discover your strength in God!”

Our heroes are currently “in training!”

August 7 – 11, 2017

Saint Anne’s Church in Trexlertown is excited to welcome you to Vacation Bible School this summer!  At VBS Hero Central, your children will enjoy an interactive, energizing, Bible-based good time as they discover their strength in God. They will become Heroes and explore how to serve God and God’s mission for their lives.

HUGE thanks to our many volunteers who are working in all different ways to make “Hero Central: Discovering Your Strength in God” a successful and FUN-FILLED week!  The kids are participating in a variety of activities: making their own art projects at Craft Headquarters, exploring the wonders of creation at Science Headquarters, playing games at Recreation Headquarters, and enjoying tasty treats at Snack Headquarters. Along the way, our “Heroes” are working on their mission project assembling school supply packs for the needy.  We couldn’t do it without all of your help!  Thank you!

PAST CAMPS:

“DEEP SEA DISCOVERY:  God is with me wherever I go!” 2016
St. Anne’s is rich in time, treasure, and talent.  That was demonstrated during last summer’s Deep Sea Discovery Camp.  It takes a congregation to prepare for and run a Vacation Bible School program. Thank you to all who helped make it a fun week for everyone!

“Discover God’s Miracles” 2015
Campers discovered the properties of magnets, electricity, solar power, water, and wind, while also exploring their faith through Bible stories and songs. Camp was open to children ages 4-15, and included a fun evening campfire for the entire family!

“All God’s Critters” 2014
St. Anne’s Nature Camp was weeklong day camp with an evening nature walk on Tuesday and campfire on Thursday for the entire family. Children and youth ages 4-14 participated.  The week included hands-on activities led by a professional naturalist about recycling, birds, mammals, pond life and soil ecology. Campers made bird feeders, recycled paper, and more. We explored it all within a framework of faith with Bible stories, songs and how God asks us all to care for creation.
